As we all know, the entire world has been struggling with COVID-19 for over a year now and the “new normal” is a part of our lives. And while the “new ordinary life” has been accepted, cruise lines must meet new Covid-19 hygiene standards.

All ships are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized prior to every voyage, and of course consistently throughout the cruise, with disinfecting cleaning agents and techniques that have been certified by health authorities as effective against COVID-19, so that it can be ensured that COVID-19 will not be further spread.

All housekeeping personel will be continuously trained on the latest international sanitization guidelines. What is more, all the crew will have mandatory training classes that are documented to ensure all the latest protocols are being followed, and always in compliance with international regulations.

Frequently touched areas with high traffic like elevators, escalators and stairways will be cleaned every two hours and during busy times. Also, all rooms will be cleaned daily and only while guests are out of the room, again with most attention paid to frequently used items and surfaces.

COVID-19 has taken a toll on the entire globe, but we are all in this together and we will get past these tough times!
